Cancer Connect Volunteer Positions
Cancer Council Tasmania is seeking part time staff (volunteers) for its peer support program Cancer Connect.  The positions are based in Hobart and are for both cancer survivors and carers. Flexible hours.

The successful applicants for must be two years post treatment coping well with their own experience.  The position requires individuals with well developed interpersonal and communications skills but training will be provided for this support.

Administration Volunteer Positions
Cancer Council Tasmania is seeking part time staff (volunteers) for it’s Launceston Office.  The positions available are for Enquiry Officers and Support Centre staff – permanent and relief. It could be just a half day (4 hr shift)  or full day – (the choice is yours)

The successful applicant for Enquiry positions will be part of a team that provides a comprehensive, relevant telephone answering service to respond to the needs of callers to Cancer Council.  While the Support centre staff also provide support and information, should have well developed interpersonal and communications skills and be interested in retail, health promotion and fundraising.  Training is provided.
